FIFA 21: How To Change Your EA Account And Link Them To Your Xbox And PlayStation Account

How To Change Your EA Account

If your Xbox Gamertag, PlayStation™Network Online ID, and/or Nintendo Account are linked to an EA Account you don’t use, you can update that account to get back in the game.

If you made a second account with your primary email address, you can move the email to the account with your games.

If you’ve got multiple EA Accounts with games on them, one of the advisors may be able to help combine your accounts.

If we move a PlayStation™Network Online ID, Xbox Gamertag, or Nintendo Account to another EA Account, that’s called a persona transfer. Persona transfers are risky and can be damaging to one or more of your accounts.

A persona is a platform-specific username that you use to play our games. In this case, it means your Nintendo Switch account, PlayStation™Network ID (PSN ID), or your Xbox Live Gamertag.

How To Link Your EA Account With Your Xbox, PlayStation or Nintendo Switch

Here's how to link your EA Account with your persona/account:

• Click the Log In button at the top of any help.ea.com page. 
• Click on the Accounts dropdown in the middle of the screen, then choose Account Security. 
• Go to the About Me tab.
• Scroll down to Connected Accounts. If you don’t see your platform, it isn’t linked.

Turn on EA Login Verification. We know, we know. You‘re ready to start playing. But helping keep your account secure is also a top priority.Read how to play by the EA rules to make sure that you, and players like you, have fun and stay safe while playing EA games.Choose who you want to view your EA Account profile. If you want your friends or other gamers to find you by searching for your email address, check off that box. If not, leave it blank.

How Can I Check If I Already Have An EA Account?

Try logging in on ea.com to see if you're already signed up. You should already have an EA Account if you’ve bought games from our store or played an EA game online with your console.

Try using that email address to log in.If you don’t remember your password, click Forgot Your Password? to reset it.Check your email (including your spam/junk folders) for a link to reset your password.If you get an email, congrats! You’ve already got an EA Account linked to that email address. Once you go through the password reset process, you can log into your game and you're good to go.If you don’t get an email after 5-10 minutes, repeat these steps for any other email address you might have used instead.Once you’re logged in, check your About Me section on myaccount.ea.com to see your Connected Accounts. Any Xbox Gamertags and PlayStation™Network Online IDs that are connected to your EA Account will show here, but Connected Switch Accounts won’t.
