FIFA 21 Demo Release Date

With FIFA releasing later than usual this year, don’t expect the demo release date to be the typical, early-mid September release date we’ve become accustomed to over the past few years.

With the FIFA 21 Standard Edition releasing globally on October 9th, we’d expect the FIFA 21 Demo to be released around Friday 25 September at the latest, with a more likely release date being closer to Monday 21 September.

FIFA 21 Demo Teams List

With the FIFA 21 Demo, you’ll have a limited list of teams to play, typically featuring clubs that have partnered with EA Sports. Last year saw the likes of Liverpool, Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea, PSG and Spurs feature, so it’s likely that you’ll see most of these teams returning in this years’ demo, along with a couple of extra teams.

Given EA still having the full licensing and rights to the competition, it’s likely that we’ll see the Champions League winner featured in the demo, meaning there’s potential for Juventus, Bayern, Manchester City, Barcelona and Napoli all to feature also.

We’ll have full player ratings predictions for these demo teams out in the coming weeks and months, so stay tuned!

FIFA 21 Demo Playable Modes

Last year FIFA 20 allowed us to play the new Volta Football mode, with a preview 3v3 match available to play, as well as the standard Kick-Off mode with an exciting Champions League atmosphere at the Santiago Bernabéu, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, or Stamford Bridge.

While there hasn’t been any news as of yet regarding new modes in FIFA 21, if there are any new additional modes added, expect to see them included in the FIFA 21 Demo to give players their first look at new and exciting gameplay innovations.

FIFA 21 Demo Download Information

As we’ve already predicted, the FIFA 21 Demo should be arriving between Monday 21 September and Friday 25 September if in keeping with the typical release 2 weeks prior to global launch.

With regards to download sizes, we’d expect the FIFA 21 demo to be between 6GB and 8GB in size, so be sure to keep this space free in your console for the end of September!

You can download it on the store of your chosen platform.
