Premier League Special Card Upgrades
Expect a tonne of top tier players to receive upgrades in the Premier League, leading to some big boosts to some already high end special items!
Sadio Mane - 88 > 90 (+2)
The Liverpool winger is due to receive a big upgrade thanks to his inclusion in TOTY, and impressive form for Liverpool.

Raheem Sterling - 88 > 89 (+1)
SoFIFA has Sterling down to receive a +1 upgrade, meaning his special cards will upgrade also.

Roberto Firmino - 86 > 88 (+2)
Firmino is definitely deserving of a big boost this Winter, and is expected to receive an 88 rated gold upgrade.

Fabinho - 85 > 86 (+1)
The Brazilian is predicted to receive a +1 upgrade, meaning his special cards will move up by 1 also.

Another +1 upgrade, the Scot should be seeing some boosts this Winter thanks to his impressive season and TOTY item.

Trent's TOTY item has solidified him as the best RB in the world at the moment, making his 83 rated card look like an insult. Expect big upgrades here.

Jamie Vardy - 82 > 85 (+3)
SoFIFA predicts Vardy to receive a massive upgrade this Winter, meaning his existing special cards could be boosted very nicely!

The Portuguese RB has definitely done enough to secure an upgrade, meaning his 2 existing special cards will likely upgrade also.

Another big upgrade for a Leicester player should see Ndidi's only IF get a nice +2 boost.

The Leicester playmaker is predicted to receive a nice +3 boost, causing a chain reaction of upgrades to his special cards.

La Liga Special Card Upgrades
Only a few upgrades to existing special cards are expected for La Liga, with only a handful of top tier players set to receive boosts.
Karim Benzema - 87 > 88 (+1)
The 32 year old has had a fantastic start to the season, with 12 goals in 18 games, with 7 MOTM awards, meaning an upgrade is very likely, and a subsequent boost to his pre-existing special cards

Casemiro - 87 > 88 (+1)
A standout performer so far this year for Real Madrid, and is currently the 2nd highest rated performer of the season on WhoScored.com, behind Lionel Messi.

After his TOTY inclusion, it's hard to ignore Frenkie De Jong for an upgrade, meaning a number of upgrades to his special items.

Raphael Varane - 85 > 86 (+1)
With 2 IFs and a Headliner card, I can definitely see Varane being upgraded, an 85 doesn’t seem to do him justice this year.

Martin Odegaard - 78 > 82 (+4)
The Norwegian has been brilliant for Sociedad so far in his breakthrough season, earning 4 goals, 5 assists and 3 MOTM awards so far, and should be set for a big upgrade and a CAM position change.

Bundesliga Special Card Upgrades
Only a handful of upgrades to discuss from the Bundesliga, with only a few large enough upgrades to boost pre-existing special items.
Robert Lewandowski - 89 > 91 (+2)
Lewandowski has been on fire this season, and was hard done by to not get into the Team of the Year. SoFIFA currently has him at a 91 OVR card.

Joshua Kimmich - 86 > 87 (+1)
Only a +1 expected for Kimmich, but he should also be receiving a new position changed CDM item.

Werner has cemented himself as one of the best strikers in the world this season, so a +3 upgrade seems very deserved.

Erling Braut Håland - 73 > 79 (+6)
We all know about this man, a breakout future star, and highly deserving of a big upgrade, causing some movements on his existing special items.

Ligue 1 Special Card Upgrades
Only a couple of upgrades to mention in Ligue 1, assuming of course that the likes of Mbappe and Neymar don't receive any surprise upgrades.

Despite being behind Mbappe and Neymar in goals, Di Maria looks set to receive a small upgrade this winter according to SoFIFA.

Marco Verratti - 86 > 87 (+1)
As always, Verratti has been a consistent performer for PSG this season, with 5 assists to his name from midfield. SoFIFA has him receiving a +1.

Serie A Special Card Upgrades
Once again, only a couple small upgrades for Serie A, with two big strikers taking the spotlight.
Ciro Immobile - 86 > 87 (+1)
Probably deserving of a slightly bigger upgrade, however SoFIFA currently has the Lazio goalscorer as a +1, causing upgrades on all 5 of his pre-existing special items.

Romelu Lukaku - 85 > 86 (+1)
The Belgian has refound his form at Inter this season, and with 3 IFs and a OTW card, expect upgrades to a lot of special items this Winter.
