FIFA 20: Pace Nerfed In The Latest Patch Update? (Title Update #10)

Yesterday, Title Update 10 arrived for FIFA 20 and players have been noticing more changes than was originally stated within the patch notes - particularly surrounding pace.

A number of community members from Reddit have noticed that a change has been made to player pace mechanics.

Pace is one of the most valuable stats in FIFA 20 Ultimate Team and has been one of the biggest discussion points since FUT began.

As we're in the middle of the Headliners promo, this could be a serious issue for players looking to complete the most current objectives.

What's Happened To Pace?

Many community members on r/FIFA have been quick to point out that pace has changed within the game, making well known rapid players much slower.

User D11HUN pointed out that Timo Werner and Mbappe were being caught by Sergio Busquets

Both cards have in excess of 90 pace compared to Busquets' 42.

Another user by the name of GoTheSavage also posted a video clip of Willian being caught by Marcelo - in the footage you can clearly see Willian dramatically slowing down for an unknown reason.

Many Redditers replied to the video stating that there appears to be a superstition around the 2-0 scoreline that impacts player performance.

Although nothing has been confirmed, it's an interesting point that has been raised and something to take into consideration for the upcoming Weekend League
