FIFA 16: Top 20 Fastest Players

Here are the ratings that you have been waiting for. Yes, I’m talking to you Mr “fill my team with 90+ pace players”.

While this tactic is one that I disapprove of, and one that I believe won’t be as affective in FIFA 16, there are A LOT of players out there who will still go for this choice of selection when building a squad in FIFA Ultimate Team.

As this is the case, here are the top 20 fastest players in FIFA 16.

20. Bruma 93 Pace - Real Sociedad (Portugal)

19. Ahmed Musa 93 Pace - CSKA Moscow (Nigeria)

18. Maicon 93 Pace - Lokomotiv Moscow (Brazil)

17. Luciano Narsingh 93 Pace - PSV Eindhoven (Netherlands)

16. Raheem Sterling 93 Pace - Manchester City F.C. (England)

15. Juan Cuadrado 93 Pace - Juventus F.C. (Colombia)

14. Lucas 93 Pace - Paris Saint-Germain F.C. (Brazil)

13. Ryo Miyaichi 94 Pace - FC St. Pauli (Japan)

12. Fahad Al Muwallad 94 Pace - Al-Ittihad (Saudi Arabia)

11. Innocent Emeghara 94 Pace - San Jose Earthquakes (Switzerland)

10. Marco Sau 94 Pace - Cagliari Calcio (Italy)

9. Kekuta Manneh 94 Pace - Vancouver Whitecaps FC (Gambia)

8. Dominic Oduro 94 Pace - Montreal Impact 94 (Ghana)

7. Jonathan Biabiany 94 Pace - Inter Milan 94 (France)

6. Gareth Bale 94 Pace - Real Madrid C.F. (Wales)

5. Jürgen Damm 95 Pace - Tigres UANL (Mexico)

4. Ernest Asante 95 Pace - Stabæk Fotball (Ghana)

3. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang 95 Pace - Borussia Dortmund (Gabon)

2. Mathis Bolly 96 Pace - Fortuna Düsseldorf (Ivory Coast)

1. Theo Walcott 96 Pace - Arsenal F.C. (England)

For the most part, to my knowledge, this list seems fairly accurate. However I am surprised to see Raheem Sterling so far behind Theo Walcott. As you can see Sterling is three ranks below Walcott, which seems a little unfair. I would like to see him with a 94 rank at least, as I don’t see a huge difference in pace between the two players.

It’s also very surprising to not find Héctor Bellerín featured on this list, as Arsenal announced that the young Spaniard beat Walcott in a sprinting contest earlier in the season. Perhaps EA handed out their official ratings before this announcement.

If I had to select players out of this list to build a FUT XI around, I would definitely pick Walcott and Sterling. Ideally, one would opt for Bale over Sterling but due to his Welsh nationality and the fact that he currently plies his trade in La Liga, his chemistry will be pretty weak in a Premier League side. With Sterling and Walcott you can build a solid Premier League team.

What do you think of the top 20 fastest players? Do you think EA have got it right or are there other players that deserve to be in the top 20? Let us know in the comments.
