Euro 2016 – Group A Ultimate Team

Can you build a better combined starting XI?

Today’s the day! The 2016 UEFA European Championship kicks-off at 8pm BST as France takes on Romania in the first match of the tournament – we all know how this one is going to end.

In honour of our recent partnership with Futhead, I’ve decided to take on the inevitable task of building the Ultimate Team for Group A.

Pretty simple right? That’s what I thought, until I started listing the teams in Group A;

• France
• Romania
• Switzerland
• Albania

Despite the fact that Albania only has 30 players, 3 of which are Gold, I cracked on with my task and started building the ultimate Group A France-Romania-Switzerland-Albania hybrid.

Here’s what I came up with:

Now, I don’t want to sound too big headed, but I’m pretty proud of that team, even if it did take me an hour to realise I can get perfect chemistry between Xhaka, Rodriguez and Schar...
