V10 R-League Competition Heats Up At The Nordschleife

On a track steeped in history and notoriously difficult to master, Porsche24 Redline managed to maintain its position at the top of the V10 R-League standings following closely fought racing with Red Bull Racing Esports, in the third round of the new V10 R-League at the Nordschleife.

Porsche24 Redline came in off the back of six straight victories, this time pitched against Red Bull Racing Esports and once again they didn’t disappoint, with Michal Smidl (Porsche) and Graham Carroll (Red Bull) stealing the limelight on the day with their entertaining head-to-head battle.

The series is really heating up

Teams used a mixture of strategies with the low and high downforce wing to try and maximise both straight-line and corner speed providing some close racing at all stages, with the long sections favouring teams such as YAS HEAT, Porsche24 Redline and BWT Racing Point Esports who opted for the low wing configuration.

The low wings helped the drivers demonstrate the true capabilities of the bespoke V10 car, with top speeds reaching 222mph down the Döttinger Höhe.

All eight pro sim racing teams – also including Williams Esports, BMW Motorsport SIM Racing Team, JAESA Team Suzuki and Team Fordzilla – offer up plenty of high-octane on-track action for the V10 R-League’s unique broadcast coverage, highlights of which are shown in the UK on BT Sport 2 at 7pm on a Monday, with all of the racing then free to view via btsport.com or the BT Sport App the following morning.
