Competing in the August 2020 Major will be the top four pro teams from the Siege European League — Rogue, Team BDS, G2 Esports, and Virtus.pro. The competition is a double-elimination bracket with a prize pool of $125,000 USD.

“The online event will be hosted by Ghassan ‘Milosh’ Finge,” the release says, “alongside a crew of talents composed of Geo ‘Geo’ Collins, Will ‘CaptainFluke’ Donaldson, Stijn ‘Hap’ Hapers, Derry ‘Dezachu’ Holt, Tim ‘AceOfPyrite’ Leaver, and observers Ante ‘med1cz’ Medić and Stephan ‘Easy’ Kemink.”

The event will be broadcast live on Twitch and on the Rainbow Six Esports YouTube channel.

Friday, August 21, will kick things off at 12 p.m. BST, with best-of-three semifinals and a losers bracket. Saturday begins at 3 p.m. BST, and will feature both the winners bracket and losers-bracket finals (also best-of-threes).

The grand final (best-of-fives) takes place on Sunday, August 23, at 4 p.m. BST.
