How to turn on cloud saves

Playstation 5

First the good news for cloud storage fans, cloud saves turn on automatically for all your PS5 Games!

Simply connect your Playstation to the internet and it will begin uploading your save files to the cloud.

If you want to check when a game’s data was last updated you can do this by going to Settings.

Then look for Saved Data and Game/App Settings, then select Save Data (PS5) and finally Cloud Storage.

On this screen, you check the Download to Console Storage option and view all the current cloud save files as well as their upload times!

Though the bad news now, this is all only true if you have PS Plus.

Playstation Plus, or PS Plus, is a subscription service that gives you a host of benefits like online gaming, free monthly games and, crucially, cloud saves.

Unfortunately, if you want to backup you save files to the cloud you will first have to subscribe to this.

You can subscribe for 1, 3 or 12 months at a time at Sony’s official website here!

We hope this guide helped!
