Halo World Championship 2017 Qualifiers are now open

We’re delighted to announce that the Halo World Championship European Qualifiers are now open for registration!

The European Halo World Championship online qualifiers will be held on

. Each qualifier will contain 1,245 pro points and will be awarded via the following breakdown:

  • 1st - 550
  • 2nd - 360
  • 3rd/4th - 200
  • 5th-8th - 75
  • 9th-16th - 35
  • 17th-32nd - 15
  • 33rd-64th - 10

Prior to the first online qualifier on January 22

nd

, an online seeding cup will be held on Saturday, January 21

st

. The results of this cup will be used to determine the seeds for the following online qualifiers.

As a result, the six HCS Pro League teams are not permitted to participate in the online seeding tournament, however, they are free to play in all qualifiers from the 22

nd

 onwards. The points obtained in these online qualifiers will also be used to seed all following cups, the EU Halo World Championship 2017 Qualifier: London by Gfinity and the Last Chance Qualifier.

  • 2nd - Team Infused
  • 3rd - Pulse Gaming
  • 4th - Vibe
  • 5th - Bittersweet
  • 6th - VWS Gaming

The six HCS Pro teams will retain their pro status and seeds for all online qualifiers and the EU Halo World Championship 2017 Qualifier: London, as long as they don’t disband their roster. 

The tournament bracket for each online qualifier will feature a single elimination format, with all matches to be played across a best-of-five series, while the final will consist of a best-of-seven series.

 

In addition to this, our Latin America Halo World Championship online qualifiers, which are scheduled to take place on January 29th, February 5th and February 12th, are also open for registration.
