Gfinity continues HCS partnership

Our relationship with the Halo community and Microsoft continues to go from strength to strength. We are delighted to announce that once again we are the exclusive event partner for the EU Halo Championship Series Fall 2017 season. This follows on from the successful collaboration with Microsoft on the Forza Racing Championship 2017 and Gears of War 2016 tournaments.

The HCS will include four weekly Halo Championship Series tournaments, which will be broadcast live through various streaming services, to commence mid-August 2017. The Fall season will also include an EU Open LAN event with a prize pool of $25,000 to be held at Gfinity Esports Arena in London in September 2017.

Our partnership on this event helps to further establish Gfinity as a leader in international esports tournament design and execution. This year alone for example, we delivered a hugely succesful EU HALO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2017 QUALIFIER event in LONDON and MEXICO CITY, with the former taking place at Wembley Stadium and the latter at the Expo Reforma.

Tashir Hasandjekic, Esports Producer of 343 Industries, said: “Gfinity are known for their world-class events and shows and we’re excited to partner with them once again for the upcoming season of the Halo Championship Series in Europe. We can’t wait to see the European Halo community come out in full force to play and compete online and in-person this fall.

Further details will be shared with the Halo community in the near future.
