December Max Raid Battles: Pokemon Sword and Shield

Game Freak have brought brand new pokemon into the December Max Raid Battle rotation!

With December being the time for keeping out the cold, and wrapping up warm, the pokemon entering dens very much fit this theme!

Here are all the new Dynamax and Gigantimax pokemon you can expect to fight in December Max Raid Battles in Pokemon Sword and Shield!

December Max Raid Battles

These pokemon can be encountered in dens between December 1 and December 31.

You’ll be able to find them in any Max Den across the main games, Isle of Armour and Crown Tundra!

• Centiskorch

Dynamax Pokemon

• Bergmite
• Avalugg
• Weavile
• Sizzlipede
• Turtonator
• Ponyta
• Rapidash

G-Max Lapras and Centiskorch are forces to be reckoned with

So far these are the pokemon we know, though going into the holiday period it’s possible we may see a few extra additions.

Delibird and Jynx are both ‘mons with connections to Christmas!

Delibird is basically bird Santa, donning a bright red coat (of feathers) and having the signature move of Present.

Jynx is less likely to pop up, but the pokemon did feature in a Christmas themed episode of the anime titles Holiday Hi-Jynx!

We love a good pun.
