Blizzcon 2019 Stream: What can we expect?

Blizzcon is here! What’s Blizzcon you might say? It’s Blizzard’s annual gaming convention and it’s taking place this weekend. This event is considered by many to be the light at the end of the tunnel whereby the company can put everything that’s happened behind them and focus on the future with a series of huge game announcements. So what can we expect?

Overwatch 2

Overwatch 2 has all but been confirmed. Rod Breslau, AKA Slasher, wrote a report for ESPN highlighting the features and direction for the new game. The main takeaway has been Blizzard are looking to make Overwatch more PVE (Player vs Environment) focused. Kotaku also reported in June that Blizzard is looking to take this approach. While Overwatch has been ramping up it’s expansion of lore and narrative since it’s launch, this second iteration will take it to the next level.

World of Warcraft Next Expansion

The rumour mill has been spinning and plenty of potential ‘leaks’ have made themselves known, one reddit post listed as many as 30+ ‘insider leaks’. Recently, two images have surfaced displaying a rendered cinematic image of the new Lich King and the new logo revealing the title, Shadowlands.
