A Ranked Solos mode could be on the way to Apex Legends in Season 8!
The game type has long been pushed for by fans, and pushed back against by the developers, but could they be about to budge?

Courtesy of user @SomoneWho Leaks on Twitter we have a glimpse of some new game modes from in-game notifications.
The most interesting appears near the bottom of the list as “#PL_Ranked_Leagues_solo!”
It is interesting as even as recently as January 8 the Apex Legends team stated they were anti a solos mode.
They said their opinion was in the “same place we were when this blog came out,” linking to this post here.

The sudden change could be a bait and switch to trick fans much like the fake Legend they created in the past, though this isn’t for certain.
It could also just be notifications from an internal test mode.
Perhaps Respawn feel so strongly about not having a Ranked Solos mode because they’ve tried it for themselves!
We’ll just have to wait and see if anything changes soon.
These leaks could suggest that they will!
