The Animal Crossing New Horizon's Fall Update confirmed plenty of fantastic fun throughout October, namely surrounding the games Halloween themed content.
Now, we are in the full swing of the holiday season and players are patiently awaiting the release of Toy Day.
This is going to be one of the best events of the year and a great way to end this miserable year.
If you want to know everything there is to know about that ACNH Chrismas/Winter update, follow the link for the official press release. We're currently updating this page with confirmed info.
What Is It?
Toy Day in Animal Crossing's take on Christmas essentially.
The event has been present throughout each and every Animal Crossing main series game since the very first one.
So, it would not surprise us if the event gets announced and implemented some time soon.
Here's what happened during the event in previous games according to nookpedia.com
Animal Crossing: New Leaf
From December 1 to 23, each villager will give two clues on a desired item for Toy Day. Every villager will mention a certain color in one conversation, while in another conversation, the type of item (carpeting, clothes, electronics, food, furniture, instrument, lamp, toy, umbrella, or wallpaper). These clues are then used to correctly identify and deliver the desired item during Toy Day.
For Toy Day, the player must dress up as Santa, wearing the Santa Hat, Santa Beard, Santa Coat, and Santa Pants, all available from Able Sisters. The Santa Boots, available from Kicks, is optional. Only one of these articles are sold in Able Sisters and in Kicks from December 1 to 23; however, on Toy Day, the entire outfit can be bought at once.
The main theme behind the event in each game is the villager 'Jingle' making an appearance on the island and giving some gifts to the player.
We can speculate that this will happen once again and we will be able to get some amazing rewards when it is all said and done.
Since the event is based around Christmas, we can assume it will begin around the 23rd of December; with an announcement sometime later November or early December!
We should also see the map become snow-covered as the year progresses.
Be sure to check back for more Toy Day news in the coming weeks! We cannot wait to see all of the content implemented this year.
