Doctor Strange 2 Is Reportedly Introducing a New Wolverine

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is right around the corner. While plot details are still under wraps, the sequel is expected to feature numerous cameos, including a potential X-Men.

According to Joseph Deckelmeier (via The Illuminerdi), Wolverine is supposedly showing up in Doctor Strange 2, but Hugh Jackman will not be reprising his role.

Doctor Strange 2 Is Reportedly Introducing a New Wolverine

This rumour claims that Wolverine will join Stephen Strange and Scarlett Witch in the sequel. But, the iteration will be the MCU's own version, with Jackman unlikely to return for his signature role.

This is somewhat surprising as fans believe they spotted Patrick Stewart's Professor X in the sequel's latest trailer. With the 81-year-old veteran returning, many thought The Greatest Showman star would also return.

On the other hand, Logan marked an effective finale for Jackman's tenure. His reinstation may ruin the impact of that film, considering the mutant received a bloody and emotional farewell.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is also rumoured to feature a former Spider-Man, along with Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool. However, the Free Guy actor did hit back at these reports.
