Doctor Strange 2 Marks End of Reshoots With Actor’s Celebratory Video


Reshoots for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness have officially wrapped. To commemorate the occasion, one of the film’s stars has released a social media video giving a small glimpse backstage.

Xochitl Gomez posted a TikTok video last night to celebrate the shoot’s end. In the reel, Gomez can be seen dancing on the set of the highly-anticipated sequel. Gomez is amidst a sound stage, with various green screens around the set. As seen below, the star is careful not to leak any potential spoilers (via @DrStrangeUpdate).

The Multiverse of Madness marks the first appearance for Xochitl Gomez, who will be portraying America Chavez. Benedict Cumberbatch reprises his role as the Sorcerer Supreme, along with Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlett Witch, while Benedict Wong returns as Wong.

The synopsis for the sequel teases an exciting, existential journey through a crack in time (via Cosmic Circus):

The door of the multiverse, full of mystery and madness, opens.
“Now that Iron Man and Captain America have left after a fierce battle in Avengers: Endgame, former genius surgeon and the strongest magician of them all, Doctor Strange, is expected to play an active role as a central figure in the Avengers.
