Can you pre-order Elden Ring?

Following the first Elden Ring trailer and Elden Ring release date announcement, it’s the natural question to ask.

So far, Bandai Namco hasn’t said anything about Elden Ring pre-orders yet.

However, we know they’re bound to be happening soon.

The game releases January 21, 2022, which is, at the time of writing, only seven months away.

We expect to see more during Bandai’s E3 2021 presentation and perhaps even have pre-orders open then.

Meanwhile, here’s what we know about Elden Ring pre-orders so far.

When Do Elden Ring Pre-Orders Start?

Elden Ring pre-orders are live on Amazon as of June 10.

Elden Ring releases in January 2022. There's not much time left for other pre-orders to open, so we'll likely see them start sometime later in summer or early fall.

Elden Ring Platforms

Elden Ring will release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Expect to see pre-orders for all those platforms open at the same time.

We do know PS4 owners will get a free upgrade to PS5, and Elden Ring Smart Delivery will be a thing.

Elden Ring Editions

Since we don't have pre-orders open yet, we don't know what editions Bandai Namco will make available.

The usual standard and deluxe editions are almost guaranteed, though we'd like to see an Elden Ring collector's edition too.

We've waited long enough, after all.

For now, Amazon has the Elden Ring standard edition for two platforms:
