Elden Ring Closed Network Test: How Do I Get Access?


Bandai Namco and FromSoftware announced earlier today that Elden Ring's been delayed. Originally scheduled to launch next January, that's been pushed back by a month to February 25, 2022. As part of this news, Bandai Namco also announced a "Closed Network Test" in November.

Designed as a "pre-verification test for the completion of the commercial version of the game," players can sign up now for registration but as a closed test, being selected isn't guaranteed. If you're looking to get involved, here's what you need to do.

Elden Ring Closed Network Test - How Do I Sign Up?

Before starting Elden Ring, Bandai Namco advise players to watch the "Official Gameplay Reveal" trailer we saw during Summer Games Fest. Assuming you've already done that, you'll need to login/create an account through the Network Test's official website.

Once that's done, all you need to do is select a platform, hit confirm and await Bandai Namco's email. As stated before, this isn't an open test, so unfortunately there's no guarantee you'll be selected. However, if you're a member of the EP!C Rewards Club, Bandai Namco promise an "exclusive advantage" for registration.

Elden Ring Closed Network Test - What Platforms Can I Use?

Elden Ring's Closed Network test can be played on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Sadly, PC players will have to sit this one out, but there could potentially be future tests which includes PC. While you can choose multiple platforms, Bandai Namco suggests selecting just one.

Elden Ring Closed Network Test - What Time Does It Start?

Elden Ring's Closed Network test will have 5 separate sessions, which run across November 12th-15th 2021. Those begin at these times.

  • Session 1: 12 p.m. - 3 p.m., November 12th 2021 CET
  • Session 2: 4 a.m - 7 a.m., November 13th 2021 CET
  • Session 3: 8 p.m. - 11 p.m., November 13th 2021 CET
  • Session 4: 12 p.m. - 3 p.m., November 14th 2021 CET
  • Session 5: 4 a.m - 7 a.m., November 15th 2021 CET
