Dragon's Dogma Director Says His Next Project Is “Definitely Ahead of Last Year”

A Dragon's Dogma sequel has been rumoured for quite some time now, though there's very limited information about it. However, a tweet by Capcom designer and the game's creator, Hideaki Itsuno probably gave us a quick update on this potential sequel.

As spotted by Gaming Bolt, Itsuno tweeted his new year greetings along with his remarks that his "next project is definitely ahead of last year" while asking everyone to “Please look forward to it.” He did not specify any game or project with his words but it sparked some speculations on what it could be, primarily Dragon's Dogma 2.

Aside from the much-awaited Dragon's Dogma sequel, others also suggested that the project Itsuno is talking about could be a potential Devil May Cry 6. Itsuno is also known for being Devil May Cry 5's game director, the last known project he worked for.
