Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Has Sold 4.5 Million Units Since Release

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has sold approximately 4.5 million units since launch in Janaury 2020, Bandai Namco announced. The news comes shortly after Bandai Namco's declaration that they will continue to support Dragon Ball FighterZ in 2022.

Developer CyberConnect2 made their announcement about the latest feat they achieved through a live stream to celebrate the new year (thanks Gematsu). CyberConnect2’s CEO Hiroshi Matsuya revealed Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot's achievement alongside other anime-based games that also performed above the developer's expectations.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Has Sold 4.5 Million Units Since Release

These include Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles (1.32 million units sold) and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 (8.7 million units sold). You can watch the livestream in Japanese by checking out the video below:
