Valve has announced that the Dota 2 tournament The International will go ahead this year, after unfortunately having to skip last year due to the global pandemic.

"Let it be known -- the Aegis of Champions is in play once more. After a break necessitated by world events, we're happy to officially announce that The International 10 will take place this August in Stockholm, Sweden."

The event will begin on August 10 and run until August 15th where the grand finals will be held.

One of the biggest draws to The International is always the prize pool. This year Valve has announced that the total prize pool will be $40,018,195.
