DOTA 2: What Is Roshing?

There are some informal jargons being used in DOTA 2 which despite these being considered as fan-made, these became popular in the gaming community even if the game developers and publishers did not issue a mandate of formality for those.

And these may include the term ‘roshing.’ But what does it exactly mean?

Keep reading to find out more.

What Is Roshing In DOTA 2?

Roshing in DOTA 2 refers to a hero who attacks Roshan.

Roshan as we all know is the Neutral Creep located in a cavern in the middle of the northwest part of the river.

You may see him already during the early stages of the game. It would then respawn at random times between 8 and 11 minutes after every death.

So, if you would hear someone say roshing or see someone type roshing in the chat, then expect there would be something happening near the neutral creep.

That’s it! Follow us for more DOTA 2 guides like this one.
