What Is Gank In DOTA 2?

Gank in DOTA 2 is the shortened term for ‘gang kill.’

And with its literal meaning being inclined to its DOTA 2 counterpart, a gang kill refers to the act of a team’s multiple members (can range from at least two to the five at most) to kill at least one enemy hero.

It’s almost a miracle that a hero can survive a gank in DOTA 2. But most of the time, a gank can sure kill at least one enemy that can surely affect the overall state of a game in progress.

So, if you hear that there will be a gank that’s going to happen, then be ready for the possible clashes and pick-offs coming along the way.
