The International 10 regional qualifiers China day 2 saw six matches featuring the 10 teams fighting for the region’s last spot in the upcoming world stage.
Team MagMa vs CDEC
Day 2 of TI10 regional qualifiers China began with Team MagMa vs CDEC. Game 1 was won by Team MagMa, but CDEC notched the win in game 2 which eventually forced a game 3. But it was Team MagMa who emerged victoriously and won the overall 2-1 series lead, eliminating CDEC in the process.
Aster.Aries vs Xtreme Gaming
A quick 2-0 finish was established by Aster.Aries to eliminate Xtreme Gaming from the competition. They will move on to face Phoenix Gaming in the lower bracket round 2.
EHOME vs Sparking Arrow
The first upper bracket match on day 2 saw EHOME vs Sparking Arrow, with the former grabbing the overall 2-0 series win to advance in the upper bracket finals. Sparking Arrow will go down the lower bracket to face the winner of Team MagMa vs LBZS.
Team MagMa vs LBZS
Team MagMa pulled off another victory on day 2 by defeating LBZS in the lower bracket round 2. They scored a 2-0 series win to advance in the lower bracket round 3, eliminating LBZS in the process.
Elephant vs Royal Never Give Up
Two Chinese powerhouses faced off in the other upper bracket match of day 2. Elephant vs Royal Never Give Up showcased their DOTA 2 game plays and prowess which was seen primarily in game 1.
Game 1 lasted for a staggering 107 minutes with Elephant emerging as the better team. But their momentum did not manifest in game 2 after Riyal Never Give Up bounced back with a win. Game 3 showed how these teams want to keep their place in the tournament alive, but it was Elephant who triumphed in the end with the overall 2-1 series victory, setting their bout with EHOME in the upper bracket finals.
Royal Never Give Up will now have to make their way up from the lower bracket.
Aster.Aries vs Phoenix Gaming
The final match of day 2 saw Aster.Aries vs Phoenix Gaming, with the former ending the latter’s TI10 dream after winning games 1 and 3 to close out the series, 2-1. They will move forward to face Royal Never Give Up in the lower bracket round 3.
DOTA 2 The International 10 Regional Qualifiers China Day 2 Aftermath
It will now be Elephant vs EHOME in the upper bracket finals.
While in the lower bracket, it will be Sparking Arrow vs Team MagMa and Royal Never Give Up vs Aster.Aries.
