DOTA 2 ESL One Summer 2021 Day 3: Results, Scores, And More!


The third day of DOTA 2 ESL One Summer 2021 saw four matches consisting of the eight surviving teams in the tournament. Two teams secured their upper bracket final spots, two fell down to the lower bracket, two advanced in the lower bracket round 3, and two teams were eliminated from the competition.

Virtus.pro vs Alliance

The first match of the day saw Virtus.pro from Russia defeating EU's Alliance in three games. Virtus.pro won game 1 while game 2 went on to favor Alliance. But it was the team from Russia who sealed the deal and closed out the series, 2-1, eventually securing their spot in the upper bracket grand final and sending down the Europeans in the lower bracket.

T1 vs Quincy Crew

SEA's T1 outlasted Quincy Crew from NA in two straight games, scoring 2-0 to dominate the series. T1 has set their bout with Virtus.pro in the upper bracket finals, while Quincy Crew will go down the lower bracket to fight for their lives in the tournament.

OG vs Team Nigma

The battle of EU happened in game 3 where OG faced off Team Nigma where it was the former who survived and won the series in three games. Team Nigma won game 1, but OG managed to bounce back and won game 2. Their momentum continued to game 3 where they eventually secured the series win, 2-1, and advancing to the lower bracket round 3. Team Nigma, unfortunately, bid their goodbye to the competition.

Viking.gg vs AS Monaco Gambit

Day 3 closed out with Viking.gg from EU vs AS Monaco Gambit from Russia. Viking.gg proved to be a force to be reckoned with after they displayed their A-game and defeated AS Monaco Gambit in just two games, securing their match against OG for the lower bracket round 3.

DOTA 2 ESL One Summer Day 3 Aftermath

With Team Nigma and AS Monaco Gambit being eliminated, the top six teams are now in, where Virtus.pro will be taking on T1 for the upper bracket finals.

On the lower bracket, it will be Alliance vs Viking.gg and OG vs Quincy Crew. The winners of these lower bracket matches will face each other, and the winner will go on to take the loser of the upper bracket finals.
