Diablo 2 Resurrected is finally here, and with it, a myriad of quests, enemies, and challenges for you to discover (or re-discover!). Today we will take you through the first Story Quest of Act 4, The Fallen Angel, where you will have to put the fallen angel Izual out of his misery.
Diablo 2 Resurrected, Act IV: The Fallen Angel
Quest Name: The Fallen Angel
Plains of Despair: 26 (Normal), 56 (Nightmare), 83 (Hell)
Unlocked By: Entering the Pandemonium Fortress, given by Tyrael.
As soon as you arrive to the Pandemonium Fortress, Tyrael will task you with the mission of finding a fallen angel named Izual, now a corrupted monster, and put him to rest. To do this, you need to go to the Plains of Despair, a segment of hell full of monsters, corrupted beings, and other aberrations.
As soon as you get out of the fortress you will have to face the Outer Steppes, an area that's also full of enemies, but it's not necessary for you to remain too long here, since the next area will be the Plains of Despair. Once there, explore as much as you can and you will eventually arrive at Izual, which is entirely random since he roams across the area at his leisure.
The fight itself isn't too complicated or hard, although his large HP can make it a bit bothersome to put down. But alas, once you're done with him and his soul is redeemed, you can go back to the Pandemonium Fortress, to collect your reward from Tyrael.
