Diablo 2 Resurrected is finally here, and with it, a myriad of quests, enemies, and challenges for you to discover (or re-discover!). Today we will take you through the first Story Quest of Act 5, Siege on Harrogath, where you will face a new threat as Harrogath is under siege by demonic hordes.
Diablo 2 Resurrected, Act V: Siege on Harrogath
Quest Name: Siege on Harrogath
Area Level
Bloody Foothills: 24 (Normal), 58 (Nightmare), 80 (Hell)
Unlocked By: Starting Act V, given by Larzuk the Blacksmith.
Act V starts with you arriving at Harrogath, only to find it under attack by Baal's forces. You must get out there and fight groups of demons, dismantle catapults, and keeping yourself alive to drive them off, before Harrogath falls.
The Bloody Foothills are full of large groups of enemies, so you want to be patient and not run into your (very) possible death. Pick them one by one, if you can afford it put a bridge between you and the group of monsters, and you should prevail.
After a fair amount of fights you should find the boss battle of this quest, a demon called Shenk The Overseer. You shouldn't have many problems fighting him, but the situation can get a bit spicy if you let groups of enemies to stack on you, so be patient, put some distance between you and the groups, and keep moving across the battlefield until you feel comfortable enough to engage in battle with Shenk.
After you defeat him, you can go back to Harrogath to receive Larzuk's reward.
