Diablo 2 Resurrected is finally here, and with it, a myriad of quests, enemies, and challenges for you to discover (or re-discover!). Today we will take you through the second Story Quest of Act 5, Rescue on Mount Arreat, a mission that will see you searching for some missing soldiers and setting them free.

Diablo 2 Resurrected, Act V: Rescue on Mount Arreat

Quest Name: Rescue on Mount Arreat

Area Level

Frigid Highlands: 25 (Normal), 59 (Nightmare), 81 (Hell)

Unlocked By: Entering the Frigid Highlands.

Fifteen Barbarian soldiers have been kidnapped by demonic forces, and you must rescue them from their captors by exploring the vast Frigid Highlands. This area has several small fortresses scattered around, with many groups of enemies and tools like catapults or towers for them to attack you from afar.

While this area can be very large and takes a bit to properly explore, you will quickly find your first group of barbarian soldiers. The kidnapped soldiers will be separated into three groups of five barbarians each, and you must break them out of captivity while also fending off the hordes of enemies.

None of this fights should be difficult at all, but you can find some surprise boss battles, so as always, be prepared, don't be reckless, and equip yourself as best as you can before heading out into the highlands. Once you rescued the three groups, go back to Harrogath and speak to Qual-Kehk for your reward.
