Diablo 2 Resurrected - Eve of Destruction Walkthrough

Diablo 2 Resurrected is finally here, and with it, a myriad of quests, enemies, and challenges for you to discover (or re-discover!). Today we will take you through the sixth and final Story Quest of Act 5, Eve of Destruction, your last big battle in Diablo 2 against the demon lord Baal.

Unlocked By: Defeating the Ancients in the previous quest.

After defeating the Ancients, all that's left is to face the ultimate enemy in the game, Baal. You must explore the Worldstone Keep, the Throne of Destruction, and then reach the Worldstone Chamber, where Baal awaits.

The Worldstone Keep is a pretty straightforward dungeon consisting of three levels, so as long as you're careful you should be fine. Is it in the Throne of Destruction where things will get more complex. Baal will start laughing and spawning groups of enemies five times, each one with a guardian demon that will try to prevent you from reaching its master. The list of guardians goes as follows:

• Colenzo the Annihilator
• Achmel the Cursed
• Bartuc the Bloody
• Ventar the Unholy
• Lister the Tormenter

Once you defeated the last group, Baal will cross a portal to the Worldstone Chamber, and wait for you there. Get ready, check your equipment, replenish your potions, and give yourself a pep talk, because this is it. This fight may be one of the hardest in the game if not the hardest, but beating Baal is worth it. Good luck, and enjoy the final cutscene!
