Here's a little taster of what the Druid Class has in store for you:

Is The Druid Good In Diablo 2 Resurrected?

Obviously, this is a very subjective question to start with and we'll try to give you as honest an answer as possible. But equally, it's very open to interpretation, especially when there are so many different factors to consider with every class and build.

For instance, some builds are fantastic at farming specific areas of the game or certain Uber Bosses who are useful for farming high-level loot. Another build might be tailored specifically for Solo Speedruns, when you're simply trying to complete Act 1 to Act 5 in as fast a time as possible on your own. Likewise, you might want a class or build that is geared towards farming Hell Andariel and Mephisto when attempting that late-game grind.

There's a wide variety of factors to consider.

Now, based on all the testing done by experts at Maxroll.GG, and when looking at the broadest specrum of factors, there's only one standout option, the A Tier Wind Druid build.

Beyond this, there's there's also two B-Tier options in the form of the Fury Druid and Fire Druid, a C-Tier option with the Fire Claw Druid and a D-Tier option with the Rabies Druid.

All in all, it's probably fair to suggest that beyond the Wind Druid, the Druid Class isn't the best option in Diablo 2 Resurrected currently. There's fun to be had for sure, but compared to the various other classes and builds, the druid is one of the games weakest.

What Is The Best Druid Build in Diablo 2 Resurrected?

As mentioned previously, there's only really one build that is up to scratch for the druid and that's the Wind Druid Build.

In most areas, be it high mob density farming, Elite Hunter farming or farming gear from Hell Andariel and Mephisto, Wind Druid is the best option.

That said, we should stress that generally speaking Wind Druid isn't the best when compared with to other classes available in the game. As noted, the Wind Druid is A-Tier at best.

That said, if you want to play as a Druid, this is the build to run with. So keep reading, we'll explain everything you need to set up this particular build, including your gear, active skills, passive skills and more.

Wind Druid Build Stat Points Setup

Strength - This stat will determine the type of gear your Druid can equip, as well as your potential melee damage. Our build suggests opting for a Monarch Shield, and a Druid will require 156 Strength to use this item. Beyond this though, you don't really need to waste any more stats on strength.

Dexterity - This stat will have a huge bearing on your block chance and attack rating. That being said you only need enough to equip your gear (mentioned below).

Vitality - This determines your Druid's health, stamina total and stamina recovery stats. Once you've invested in the required Strength and Dexterity stats you want to put all remaining points into Vitality.

Energy - This stat will determine your Mana total and mana recovery. Although you're going to need Mana for this build, you don't need to put points into Energy, as you should have more than enough mana from your gear and charms.

Wind Druid Build Best Gear

The below is the best possible gear worth targetting for the Wind Druid Build.

  • Head - Carrion Horn Hunter's Guise

  • Feet - Viper Spur Light Plated Boots
  • Belt - Arachnid Mesh Spiderweb Sash

  • Tornado
  • Hurricane
  • Cyclone Armor
  • Twister
  • Oak Sage

These are the main skills you need to worry about and where possible max out as they will form the backbone of your Wind Druid build.

It's also worth potentially put 1 point into the following skills as they'll also prove useful:

  • Raven
  • Summon Spirit Wolf
  • Oak Sage
  • Summon Dire Wolf
  • Arctic Blast

The Best Mercenary For Wind Druid Build

We would pick the Nightmare Act 2 Offense Mercenary with Might Aura which can be hired from Greiz's Desert Warriors. Combine this with The Reaper's Toll (weapon), Treachery (body armor), and Guillaume's Face Winged Helm (Helmet) for the most optimum build.
