"Like last Season, each weapon will be on a weekly rotation in Nightfall playlists," Bungie's blog says.

"Upping the difficulty will give you a higher drop chance as you search for desired rolls. Starting June 22, Grandmaster Nightfalls will become available, introducing Adept versions of each weapon."

So, depending on the week, you could end up with Hung Jury, PLUG ONE.1, or the Uzume RR4.

Our preferred perks are as follows:

  • Arrowhead Brake
  • Appended Mag
  • Triple Tap

This combination of perks will reduce the weapon's recoil (always handy with sniper rifles, buff stability, increase magazine size and add more rounds to the chamber.

Vorpal Weapon also makes it more powerful against bosses.

For PvP, consider swapping Triple Tap and Vorpal Weapon for Snapshot and High Impact Reserves. It allows faster target acquisition, and higher damage - minimising the chances of an opponent returning fire.
