Destiny 2's Season of the Splicer has been progressing nicely, and the Solstice of Heroes event starts today, July 6th.

Here's how to get the Solar precision frame shotgun, which is bound to be handy heading into Season 15.

Destiny 2: How To Get The Compass Rose Shotgun

You can earn your first Compass Rose through the event's introductory quest, but you'll earn fresh rolls through Solstice packages.

You'll need to earn Solstice Key Fragments to unlock Solstice Packages.

These can contain armour, weapons, materials, and rerolls of the Compass Rose's perks, so it's not a guaranteed drop.

Those key fragments are pretty easy to come by, requiring players to kill minibosses in the EAZ (European Aerial Zone), and then hunt down treasure chests in the area once you've slain the main boss.

Eva is also offering a series of bounties, with Key Fragments as a reward, but you should earn a few just by playing.
