Death Stranding Director's Cut Offers Fans A P.T. Easter Egg

Death Stranding Director's Cut might have us given a P.T. easter egg, after fans noticed a new scene that didn't appear in the original game.

As seen in a Reddit post by user/DoubleTimeRusty, the player's POV changed into first-person and focused on a shower that showed a figure speculated to be Lisa from P.T.

Death Stranding Director's Cut Offers Fans A P.T. Easter Egg

As speculated within the Reddit post, this scene could be an easter egg for P.T, the Silent Hills game cancelled by Konami that Death Stranding creator Hideo Kojima previously worked on.

YouTuber Suzi Hunter on Twitter also posted an image of the same scene, where she mentioned how scared she was when entering that phase in the game. Later on, she replied to her tweet, stating it's a P.T. reference.

Does this mean a possible reincarnation for the P.T. project? That's unlikely, though Silent Hill games are strongly rumoured to be in the works. For now, you might want to enjoy the Death Stranding Director's Cut on PS5.
