Death Stranding Director's Cut Final Trailer Will Drop Next Week, Says Hideo Kojima


Death Stranding Director’s Cut will release on September 24, 2021, and several trailers for this revamped version have already been unveiled. Now, the final one will be revealed sometime next week as confirmed by Hideo Kojima himself.

Kojima tweeted that the game is already delivered and ‘out of his hands.’ He also hinted that the final trailer will release in the latter half of next week.

The Director’s Cut version is still the original game itself, yet features new content that cannot be found in the 2019 edition. These include new missions, enhanced visuals, and additional stories from the game.

The Director’s Cut official description reads:

Tomorrow is in your hands. From legendary game creator Hideo Kojima comes a genre-defying experience, now expanded and remastered for the PlayStation 5 console in the definitive Director’s Cut. In the future, a mysterious event known as the Death Stranding has opened a doorway between the living and the dead, leading to grotesque creatures from the afterlife roaming the fallen world marred by a desolate society. Take on the trials of Sam Bridges with advanced combat, explore new locations with extra missions and minigames, experience an extended storyline and much more.
