While the headset itself 'under the hood' is still the same epic piece of audio gear that takes its rightful place as one of the best headsets for PS5.
The big thing here is how it looks, and we imagine for many, especially those who have decked out their consoles with black faceplates and purchased the Midnight Black DualSense too, this is exactly what they were looking for.
How much does it cost?
Well, when we last checked, the headset is up for pre-order at £89.99 on Amazon UK, which is what we'd expect for a premium peripheral.
From what we've seen it comes in at $99.99 on PS Direct for US buyers.
It may be the case that we see it drop in price in the future with some special promotions, but we wouldn't hold our breath for it just yet.
When does it release?
The headset is listed as coming out on October 29th 2021.
