Following the release of the OnePlus Buds in late 2020, the new Pro version of the OnePlus earbuds are set to launch pretty soon.

This comes as OnePlus continues its expansion into all markets, with the next instalment of the OnePlus Nord series set to launch soon.

Here’s when you can expect to get your hands on the new OnePlus Buds Pro.

OnePlus Buds Pro Release Date

The OnePlus Buds Pro earbuds have officially been released, being launched on July 22, 2021. This date coincides with the release of the OnePlus Nord 2 phone, which dropped on the same day.

Writing in the OnePlus forums, the company said: “Are you excited about the upcoming OnePlus Nord 2 5G launch? I bet you didn't know the new instalment of the Nord series would be accompanied by the yet-to-be-announced Buds Pro.”

This release date will ensure the Buds Pro launch away from the releases of similar products, such as the AirPods 3 release date.

If this date is still too far away for you, then OnePlus is offering a select group of individuals the chance to test out its new products earlier. You can check that out here.

OnePlus Buds Pro Latest News

With the OnePlus Buds Pro now officially out, we've got all the details and relevant specs here:

They're available in two colours: Matte Black and Glossy White, and feature 11mm dynamic drivers alongside Smart Adaptive Noise Cancellation.

This is taken care of thanks to three microphones that are used oto monitor external noise in the environment and adapt the noise cancelling as such which differs from the more traditional Active Noise Cancelling that's found on some of the best earbuds around.

There's support for Bluetooth 5.2 with a ten metre range, alongside a transparency mode that will allow you to hear your surroundings.

Battery life here looks to be pretty good with the OnePlus Buds Pro supporting 5 hours of playback time with ANC on, and 7 hours with it off from just the earbuds. With the charging case involved, this increases to a total of 28 hours with ANC and 38 hours without it.

You'll also find support for Warp Charging too, with a ten-minute quick charge allowing for 10 hours of playback, courtesy of the charging case. They can either charge through a wired USB-C connection or through Qi wireless charging.

For those wanting to work out, you'll also be pleased to know the OnePlus Buds Pro's earbuds are IP55 rated, meaning they are dirt and dust resistant, whilst can withstand water from low-pressure jets from all directions, meaning working out shouldn't be a problem at all.
