The LG OLED48C1 is the new kid on the block as of late and boasts some impressive features, especially for gaming.

You get Variable Refresh Rate here and auto low latency mode, which when combined assist in creating that responsive and smooth feel.

OLED displays are amazing if you're going for incredible contrast and picture quality since the pixels themselves can actually turn off, essentially giving super deep blacks.

This LG TV, and does carry a premium price tag, but we'd say it's one to consider if you've got a PS5 or Xbox Series X.

If you're wanting to give an 8K TV a go that'll also be a cracking TV for your PS5, then the LG QNED99 should certainly provide.

For the gamers out there, you'll be pleased to know that this TV does feature a 120Hz refresh rate and supports HDMI 2.1, as well as ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) and HGiG which allows for colours to be shown in HDR as developers intended, in a nutshell.

Otherwise, a 75" panel with a resolution of 7680x4320 makes this quite the powerful TV and with 8K quality present, this is also a good TV for the future when 8K content becomes more widespread.

There is also something a little more special about the LG QNED99's panel, though. It's a Mini LED display with 30,000 tiny LEDs helping to offer brighter images with more vivid colours thanks to such a high quantity of them.

You'll also find other intriguing features including support for smart assistants like Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa which can provide a helping hand or Filmmaker Mode, so you can view movies as the director originally intended.

Going for the latest release is great if you're keen on having the absolute newest technology you can get, but there are some big advantages of going for a slightly older set.

One, of course, is price, and this LG OLED48CX does come in at a lower price point than the previous entry on the list, which could be a great way to go for a larger OLED screen without tipping the scales too much.

In terms of features, you'll see some familiar specs which, again, work well for gaming, like HDMI 2.1, 120hz, VRR and more.

This LG TV is one to check out if you're looking for a big-screen OLED TV but want to keep the cost down.

The LG 43UP8000PUA is a 2021 model which comes in well under 500, making it a strong contender from the brand for either a second screen/ bedroom TV or just a great budget display in general.

Its refresh rate may not be up there with some of the best 120hz TVs, but 60hz is still more than enough for a smooth gaming experience from what we've experienced.

In fact, this LG TV even features low input lag, something which works towards giving you that responsive feel when playing games like Warzone, FIFA, or any other fast-paced titles.

We think for the price, you're getting quite a lot of bang for your buck here.

Best LG 8K TV - LG ZX 8K Signature OLED TV

Now this, as with many 8K TVs, is a bit of a beast and could well be an option if you're really looking to go all out on your next TV.

It features over 100 million SELF-LIT subpixels and this LG ZX 8K TV even includes AI that can upscale 4K and 2K images into much sharper 8K resolutions...especially handy as we wait for more 8K content.

The LG ZX 8K TV also has more than few gaming features, such as NVIDIA G-Sync support and a staggeringly fast 1ms response time....which is basically akin to some of the best gaming monitors.

This TV we'd say is one of the best 8K TVs we've come across, so if you're looking for an epic upgrade that's practically future proof, this would be one to consider.
