Does Dead By Daylight Have Local Co-op And Split-Screen Multiplayer?

Dead by Daylight continues to be one of the most popular online multiplayer games out there, giving fans a true survival horror experience similar to most slasher movies, and the DLC that lets us use characters and monsters from franchises like Resident Evil is icing on the cake.

Does Dead By Daylight Have Local Co-op And Split-Screen Multiplayer?

Unfortunately, Dead by Daylight only has online multiplayer so anyone who was hoping to play local co-op or split-screen with their friends or siblings is out of luck.

Admittedly, some form of local co-op in Dead by Daylight would ruin a lot of suspense if one player were the killer and the other was a survivor, so it’s an understandable move, but still a bit disappointing.

In the end, this is the vision that these devs wanted for Dead by Daylight and it’s proven to be extremely successful so we doubt that local co-op or split-screen multiplayer will be added anytime soon.

Considering how Dead by Daylight has been around for some time now, we are a little surprised that they haven’t considered any form of local multiplayer for the title.

Still, you don’t fix what isn’t broken and considering how there are likely more updates coming to make Dead by Daylight even better, we reckon anyone who wants local co-op for the game should play something else.

Dead by Daylight is now available on the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
