Bohemia Interactive announced a DayZ 60fps PS5 patch on Twitter, saying the enhancement would be part of the DayZ 1.14 update.
The dev team said it wasn't stable enough to include in the experimental patch that released earlier in the month.
When that update might drop is another matter. Originally, Bohemia planned the 1.14 update to release a few days after the experimental version released, but as of September 10, there's no sign of it.

DayZ 60 FPS PS5 update coming with patch 1.14
The DayZ 60fps patch is essentially its big PS5 upgrade.
The survival game is currently playable on PS5 via backwards compatibility, but there are apparently no plans for a full PS5 upgrade or native PS5 version aside from this patch.
DayZ might be getting on in years at this point, but Bohemia is keeping it well oiled and tailored to both console and PC players' needs of late with multiple patches in the last few months alone.
