Unlike developer CDPR's previous Witcher titles, Cyberpunk 2077 is played almost entirely in first-person.
While that adds a hefty dose of immersion, it also prevents players from seeing their custom character – but not any more.
As many anticipated, it didn't take long for someone to get a third-person perspective added to Cyberpunk 2077 – at least on PC.
Cyberpunk 2077 Third-Person Mod Lets You Play Your Way
Jelle Bakker has created the mod, and you'll need to install Cyber Engine Tweaks, an application that'll let you tweak the game.
You'll then need to download the version for Male or Female genders from the link here, and then extract it to the following folder:
"\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64 directory"
Once done, you can press the B key to switch between multiple camera views.
Check it out in the footage below:
Considering how divisive the game's perspective was when it was first revealed, it'll be interesting to see if CDPR eventually adds a third-person mode.
