Cyberpunk 2077 launches on September 17, and in the run-up to launch we've got fresh details from Reddit user Moraez who has been listening to interviews with CD Projekt Red through the German podcast GameStar.
According to Moraez, we'll be able to summon "creatures and warriors" to help out within the game's Cyberspace landscape.

“Inside of the Cyberspace you will be able to summon Phantasy-RPG-like creatures and warriors who can, for example, burn out another hacker,” the post explains.
In fact, the game's Cyberspace area sounds like an entire game in itself, with Moraez confirming "the Cyberspace in Cyberpunk 2020 is a bit like Skyrim meets Tron. There are weapons like in a phantasy RPG … that you can summon someone who burns out an evil hacker. He scorches his brain and the hacker topples over. Or that you throw fireballs and block them with shields. So it sounds like a phantasy-RPG in a high-tech environment.”
The prospect of building an army of virtual minions like some kind of Digimon is undoubtedly exciting and is grounded in the game's tabletop origins where hacker characters use "icons" to hack everything from servers to other people.
We'll know more about how to call on these digital assistants in the game soon, so be sure to check back closer to launch.
