Levelling up in Cyberpunk 2077 takes the standard model of your players level we see in pretty much every game, and expands this into other categories as well.

This can be beneficial for getting some of the best gear and perks through Night City; so spend some time on this.

Once you level up, you will gain an attribute point that can be spent on one of five sub-categories:

  • Body
  • Reflexes
  • Technical Ability
  • Cool
  • Intelligence

Which one you opt for early on will spend on how you are playing the game.

Each category is going to have separate perks, which caters to aspects such as DPS, stealth etc.

Again, this is going to come down to how you are going to play Cyberpunk 2077; so the choice is up to you!

The best thing about Cyberpunk is that they have pretty much eliminated the bogged down levelling grind we see in a lot of RPGs.

As over the course of the game, you will gain XP for basically everything you do!

Street Cred

This meter will be critical for unlocking certain areas of the game, and will also be beneficial for meeting certain NPCs.

This bar will rise if you take part in some of the organized crime activities over Night City along with some other side missions.

Doing so will unlock new options at vendors, as well as new cybernetic enhancements.
