Cyberpunk 2077 Characters List

Cyberpunk 2077 is out now, featuring a whole host of characters to meet, shoot and ally with. But Mike Pondsmith’s RPG is bigger than the gangs that rule Night City – in fact, there are some main characters that you should really know about if you are considering purchasing. One of the standout ones is Johnny Silverhand, who is played by Keanu Reeves. Continue below as we run you through the first characters you’ll encounter.

V

V is the player-controlled protagonist of the upcoming video game Cyberpunk 2077, and players will be able to choose whether V is male or female. Players will be able to choose V’s backstory, which in turn will impact questlines and the story progression.

Johnny

Johnny Silverhand is a central character to the Cyberpunk series, as well as an influential Rockerboy and the lead singer of the band in the 1988 version. What will make Johnny so much more relatable than we expected is the fact that he will be played by Keanu Reeves. As Johnny only lives on in the head of the game’s protagonist, it is hard to tell how much we will see of the John Wick actor, but we recently heard that he requested to have his lines doubled.

 Jackie Welles

Jackie is a highly-skilled assassin, and is one of V’s earliest points of contact in the game, gradually becoming V’s partner in future missions. We saw a lot of Jackie in the 48-minute gameplay reveal last year, and we can’t wait to be driving his car around Night City when it eventually releases.

Dexter DeShawn

Dexter ‘Dex’ DeShawn is one of the names and bios that were mentioned in the E3 2018 demo highlights pamphlet. Dex is known as one of the best fixers in Night City, but he has a killer instinct and an intimate knowledge of everything that goes on in Night City. Anyone who handles their first job for Dex is sure to succeed in the game.
