Cyberpunk 2077 Beta: CD Projekt Red Warn Off Fake Email Scam


Cyberpunk 2077 is coming to our screens on November 17th but some fans want to play early, in a beta.

CD Projekt Red is warning future players that beta invites are fake and there are currently no plans for a beta.

Cyberpunk 2077 Beta Scam

Cyberpunk 2077 is a huge game and scammers are taking advantage of players' excitement.

The scam that has been circling is offering players the opportunity to play a Cyberpunk 2077 beta, but CD Projekt Red has cleared things up.

They took to Twitter with a warning, stating they are not sending out beta invites and they they have no plans for a beta.

If you get an email similar to what's described, check the recipient, if it isn't from @cdprojektred.com then it's a scam.

Just assume that any email you get mentioning a beta is false.
