CSGO: IEM Katowice 2020: Dates, Tickets, Format, Teams And More

IEM Katowice 2020 will return to the Polish city for the 8th consecutive year. This year will once again see 16 elite teams from around the world compete for $500,000 on the 28th February - 1st March 2020. As part of the ESL Pro Tour, this will take place in two phases with the main event taking place at the Spodek Arena. Despite this event being several months away, it wont be long before we see ESL One New York 2019 and the Return of Cache.

Dates, Venue, Tickets And Prize Pool

Dates: 25th-27th February 2020 (Group Stages) and 28th February-1st March 2020 (Main Event)

Venue: Spodek Arena, Katwoice, Poland.

Tickets:Tickets are yet to go on sale, but you can be notified when they go live here.

Prize Pool: $500,000

The format will more than likely remain the same from last year, with a group stage requiring each team to win 3 games in order to progress to the knockout phase. 8 teams will advance to the next stage, a single elimination bracket, with each game being a best of 3.
