CSGO: Evil Geniuses The CSGO Kings of America Look To Conquer The World At ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals

Only half of the ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals field has been announced so far, but EG were sure to make their presence felt as soon as possible. The top team in the world, EG has made sure that North American Counter-Strike stays relevant on the world's stage.

Roster:

Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz (1.05)

Stanislaw has undergone many transformations in his long career as a journeyman IGL, but I believe he has finally found his home. Surrounded by stars and veteran talent, Stanislaw has put together the pieces that many IGLs wished they had. Without stanislaw, this team would lack a fragging IGL who is capable of making decisive calls on the fly.

Tarik "tarik" Celik (1.09)

Tarik has transformed from budding star player to becoming the glue that he was meant to be. His stats are not overly impressive, but he comes up clutch in big moments and has shown his worth on every roster he has been apart of.

Ethan "Ethan" Arnold (1.17)

After years of being a pro player, it seemed as if Ethan would never take his talent to the next level and fall off. Thankfully, Ethan has finally found his stride and a lot of EG's success can be pinned on the 19-year-old finding his groove.

A solid fragger boasting a 50.5% headshot percentage, Ethan has grown a lot from his time on CLG and NRG. Look out for Ethan as teams look to pin down the team's other monster fraggers.

Cvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov (1.20)

The Bulgarian machine has come along way from the streaky AWPer he once was. Another young star, CeRq has shown a lot of growth on his time at NRG/EG. It is still nuts how the IEM Shanghai 2018 MVP is not the biggest star on EG.

Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte (1.23)

EG's bonafide star player is Brehze. Once an afterthought, Brehze has blossomed into a top 10 player and the fact he has not been mentioned more is a true shame. He has won two MVP trophies this year and a third might not be far from reach.

EG has seen their trophy cabinet swell with shiny new hardware as the team has been winning on and offline. The recent wins in the Esports Championship Series Season 8 has guaranteed them another LAN finals invitation and added confidence for the future.

EG's lone aberration was DreamHack Malmo which seems to be a big one-off after they rattled off a ton of best of three victories at StarLadder.

Potential for Success

EG has been hot and can only be expected to keep the momentum going. The field at Odense will be a mix of top teams such as Liquid and Astralis and meh teams such as the Sharks and Heroic.

EG should have little trouble with anyone not named Liquid or Astralis, but anything and everything can happen in the group stage.

Prediction: Evil Geniuses to win ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals.
