We recently reported on rumors that Crytek was hinting at a Crysis 2 remaster, and now it looks like the studio is teasing Crysis 3 remastered.

On May 28, Crytek tweeted a screenshot from a Crysis game with the double eyes emoji.

Lest there be any confusion about what the screenshot was, they followed it with another, simple tweet: “3.”

In other words, it’s a screenshot from Crysis 3, and the team wanted to make sure you understood that.

It makes sense, as leaked internal documents suggested Crytek planned on remastering all three Crysis games.

We'll update once the first trailer goes live.

Crysis 3 Remastered Platforms

Crysis Remastered recently received a current-gen upgrade patch.

If Crytek has been developing Crysis Remastered 3 for a while now, which they probably have since it's being teased already, it's likely the game will launch on last-gen platforms, possibly including Nintendo Switch, and then also receive a current-gen update.
