The Shiba Inu metaverse will kick off its land sale this weekend after SHIB confirmed early access will open soon.
Prompting users to lock their LEASH or Shiboshi NFTs before the event begins, those wanting to buy land in the SHIB metaverse have just hours left until this priority access for LEASH and Shiboshi holders begins.
So, if you’re looking to the metaverse for your next SHIB adventure, here’s what’s coming over the weekend.
SHIB Land Sale Launch
Suspicions of a metaverse-related event happening pretty soon first came about after Shiba developer Eric M posted an image of Canadian singer The Weeknd on Twitter.
Shiba Growth member Milkshake then also teased that something could happen this weekend with a similar image.
The official SHIB account then confirmed that the land sale is happening this weekend.
We don’t know the timings of the land sale, but we’d expect prospective owners should get some heads up first. So, whether in the Discord server or on Twitter, we’d recommend keeping your eyes on these channels for the launch.

Almost 4000 LEASH and over 1500 Shiboshi NFTs have been locked in preparation for the land sale.
Land in the metaverse has a minimum price of 0.2-1 ETH, depending on its Tier. Following the 72 hour Bid Event, the auction will then enter a seven-day Holders Event, before a Public Sale.
In anticipation of the Shiba metaverse’s land sale, the price of LEASH has jumped 8.8% in the last 24 hours.
However, the land sale isn’t the only important SHIB event in the next few days. From the latest blog post, SHIB said it would announce the AAA game studio tasked with the artistic development of the metaverse this week.
