Floki Inu is about to mark its debut on the tallest building in the world, the historic Burj Khalifa, in its latest advertising campaign.
Floki Inu's official Twitter handle announced the campaign on November 30, with the advertisement set to go live a few days later on 3 December.
The cryptocurrency will host a live stream later today to mark the occasion and reveal the 3D, 4K Floki advertisement.
What does it mean for Floki Inu Holders?
The Floki Inu advertising campaign comes just one day after the United Arab Emirates National Day celebrations. This timing was likely planned by the Floki Inu team to draw more exposure.
The cryptocurrency announced the campaign on November 30.
This forms part of Floki's wider Middle Eastern advertising, first launched in November.
Speaking about the campaign, Floki Inu said:
This is no small feat and took a lot of legwork and massive connections and documentation, further legitimising FLOKI as a project and affirming FLOKI as a cryptocurrency to reckon with.
News of Floki Inu's Burj Khalifa advert prompted a rally for the memecoin's price. It is currently up 31% in the last seven days, and 14% in the past 24 hours. At the time of writing, it is trading at $0.00022279. Floki holders will hope for further spikes once the advertisement goes live at 8:40 PM GST /4:40 PM UTC.
This is not the first grand advertising campaign from Floki Inu. The memecoin signed several sponsorship deals with football clubs including Kerala Blasters and Napoli, sparking a crypto derby between Binance-backed Lazio last week. It also partnered with British heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.
However, its physical advertising on the London Underground caught the eye of UK advertising authorities. The Advertising Standards Agency has now issued new guidance on cryptocurrency advertising following similar campaigns.
